One-On-One Computer Training & Web Design is a Canadian corporation located in Tilbury, Ontario and serving Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex counties.

It was first established in 2004 as a sole proprietorship by the name of One-On-One Computer Help House Calls, an on-site solution for computer issues from A to Z. However, it soon became clear that clients didn’t just want quick fixes; they were eager to learn why problems occurred and how they could be prevented.

In 2005 the name was changed to One-On-One Custom Computer Training and the company became licensed to teach over 100 structured courses, including all versions of Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.), Adobe (Acrobat, PhotoShop, etc.) as well as general Computer Basics. All courses were offered at Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced levels with certificates provided upon completion.

Although One-On-One had been doing on-site training and consulting for small businesses since day one, the introduction of structured courses led to corporate training soon exceeding 50% of all work. Employees were hired to meet the demand, and in 2006 One-On-One became federally incorporated.

The expansion into web design, although always planned, was sped along in 2009 by client demand. In June of ‘09, a website was constructed for Tilbury Rentals & Contracting. A few months later work began on a site for Longwood's RV Centre in Chatham. By the end of the year a 3rd site was launched for Tilbury Tots, a daycare with 9 locations across Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex counties.

In 2010, One-On-One adjusted its name to reflect the new services being offered, and now operates as One-On-One Computer Training & Web Design. The web development team consists of director Meighen Hopp covering all layouts, graphic design and general coding, and professional ASP.NET programmer Kevin Hopp on board for projects requiring the design of complex/highly-specialized applications. With Meighen’s creativity and Kevin’s technical talent plus 15+ years of experience, no project is too advanced for One-On-One.

Today, clients of One-On-One’s computer training services can develop their skills all the way from learning to type to making their own website. And clients needing websites will not only get one that exceeds their expectations, but can also learn to edit it themselves!
